Claimcheck 2025 Recap: A year of service, innovation, and smiles

Claimcheck 2025 Recap: A year of service, innovation, and smiles

2025 was filled with moments that reminded us of why we do what we do. From supporting funeral homes in their mission to serve with compassion to getting families funded during their times of need, we’re honored to play a small role in the bigger picture.

This blog is a recap of the year’s highlights and a celebration of the funeral professionals who inspire us, the families who trust you, and the team behind the scenes who make it all possible.

Tools to help you serve families better

We know that funeral professionals wear many hats, and time is always in short supply. That’s why we focused on building tools that make your workflow smoother and your service stronger.

Here are 3 features we introduced in 2025 through our Passare integration, all designed with your needs in mind:

Custom Processing Fees – Automatically add and track your own processing fees on assignments inside Passare. This new feature saves time, removes manual calculations, and helps increase your funeral home’s revenue while keeping the process simple and transparent for families!

Insurance Library – Finding the right insurance details shouldn’t slow you down. Insurance Library puts verified company information like contact details, assignment requirements, and processing guidelines right at your fingertips so you can spend less time chasing answers.

Status & Messaging – Stay connected without extra steps. Status & Messaging lets you send and track assignment updates right inside your workflow, and everything stays in sync across Claimcheck and Passare. It’s an easy way to keep your team and families informed without juggling multiple systems.

These tools were built to support your mission, and we’re excited to keep improving them in 2026.

Celebrating the heart of our team

Behind every assignment processed is a team that truly cares about funeral homes, families, and each other. In 2025, our team found joy in the everyday and celebrated the people who make Claimcheck a special place to be.

Senior Collection Specialist Shawna Thomas (left) and Insurance Specialist Jane Howell were recognized for their years of service with Claimcheck! Shawna has been a reliable source of positivity for 15 years, and Jane has never failed to go above and beyond in her 10 years with us.

We’re so blessed to have these two on our team!

From festive outfits to themed celebrations, our team brought smiles to the office all year long. Whether it was New Year’s Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, or Halloween, they never missed a chance to spread joy.

We’re grateful for every person who makes Claimcheck not just a workplace, but a community.

Connecting with funeral professionals at NFDA 2025

One of our favorite moments of the year was attending the National Funeral Directors Association Convention in Chicago. It always warms our hearts to see so many great friends and connect with wonderful funeral professionals from all over the world.

Our Client Success Manager, Rae Torres, spent time sharing how we can help funeral homes save time, reduce stress, and stay focused on serving families.

Here’s a short video of Rae from the NFDA Convention floor!

If we missed you this year, we hope to see you in Charlotte, North Carolina, at NFDA 2026!
